The Welland Public Library's VHS to DVD converter is available for public use at the Innovation Station. This device allows you to convert standard-size VHS tapes to DVD format. You can use your own blank DVDs, or you can purchase a blank DVD-R disc from the library at a cost of $1.00.

The device is self-serve and is available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. The conversion process involves playing the VHS tape at normal speed, so a 2-hour VHS tape will take 2 hours to convert to DVD format. 

Note: patrons are not permitted to copy feature films or other copyright-protected content.
