About the Event

As we turn our minds to planting next season’s garden, we may also start thinking about acquiring seeds. Terrylynn Brant is a member of the Mohawk Nation and a traditional Seedkeeper in her community. She will discuss her role as a Seedkeeper and the steps she takes to honour and save seeds, and why it is so important. She will also discuss the  many varieties of traditional seeds she tirelessly works to save for future generations from her Earthship Seed Sanctuary on Six Nations. This program is presented in collaboration with Pelham Public Library.
