The Bookmobile aka C.A.N.A.L. Cruiser

The Bookmobile is a library on wheels that offers access to programs, services, and resources in a flexible and inclusive way. Visit the Bookmobile to get a library card, browse the collection, use our Wi-Fi, learn about 3D printing, or participate in programs and activities. 
 
In 2026, the Welland community lovingly named the Bookmobile, C.A.N.A.L. Cruiser.  It travels to special events, community organizations, schools, daycares, retirement communities, and popular recreational spots where our existing and future patrons live, work, and play.
