About the Event
(11-15yrs)
This course teaches new babysitters the skills necessary to care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Safety, dealing with emergencies, and first aid basics will be emphasized. Participants will receive a Babysitting reference book, small first aid kit, and a St. John Ambulance certificate suitable for framing and a wallet-sized one on completion of the course. A lunch and two 15-minute breaks will be taken during the workshop; please bring a nut-free lunch and snacks. Each participant will need a doll or a stuffed animal.
